Dr. Ruiz is a licensed psychologist and licensed school psychologist. He is fully bilingual and bicultural. He has extensive experience performing neuropsychological assessments in English and Spanish for children and adolescents with a wide range of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions. He has worked for over 20 years in school districts across Massachusetts as a school psychologist. He received his pre-doctoral clinical training at Children's Hospital Boston and post-doctoral training in pediatric neuropsychology at North Shore Children's Hospital in Salem, MA. He received his doctorate from Northeastern University with his doctoral dissertation focusing on self-forgiveness in adjudicated juveniles under the custody of the Department of Youth Services.
