Criminal/Juvenile Courts

We have experience providing evaluations and testimony in Federal, Superior, District, and Juvenile Courts in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont. All of our clinicians have undergone rigorous training through the Department of Forensic Mental Health Services. Additionally, some have attained Designated Forensic Professional (DFP) and/or Certified Juvenile Court Clinician (CJCC) certification by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.

Sexual Offenders/Sexual Abuse

PCS clinicians have been certified as Qualified Examiners who are available to perform Sexually Dangerous Person (SDP) evaluations. We are experienced in evaluating both male and female juveniles and adults charged with sexual offenses and/or facing sexual dangerousness hearings.

Schools/Residential Treatment

We consult with schools, colleges, inpatient mental health and residential treatment facilities, group and nursing homes, and assisted living facilities regarding students, patients, and clients.

Public Safety/Employment

PCS provides risk assessments and personnel-related evaluations across a spectrum of public and private settings, including government and private agencies, businesses, and municipalities.

Fitness for duty
Occupationally-mandated psychological evaluations
Pre-employment screening for police and fire personnel

Neuropsychology

The focus of our forensic neuropsychology service is to provide specialized assessments and recommendations to address the complex issues of children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly who may be involved in adversarial proceedings. The need for an experienced, forensically-trained neuropsychologist arises when clinical factors (autism, brain injury, developmental disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities) need to be appreciated and integrated into legal proceedings involving people with special needs.
